OUR COURSE
THE COURSE
Set among striking ravines that lead to Lake Michigan, Lake Shore’s classic course presents an interesting and challenging test for golfers. Generous but well-bunkered fairways are bordered by mature oak trees which lend to beautiful sight lines throughout the parkland-style links.
Some of the most renowned architects in golf history have had an influence on Lake Shore’s greens—from Frederick Law Olmstead, Jr. to Tom Bendelow and Donald Ross to the most recent renovation by Ron Prichard. This excellent design, paired with exceptional course conditioning, creates a true hidden gem on Chicago’s North Shore.
